I'm an Aerospace Engineer Student-- I'm about to be in my Junior year, however I'm taking a double major and minor in each course-- so I'm just now finishing up on my Freshman year for all degrees'.
...And to your question-- There are many many many architects. From my knowledge, you don't even have to go to school to be an architect. As long as your an open-minded person, have great creativity; a good immagination, and work well with people, you can work your way up the ladder in no time.
An architectural degree will get you many places. As, there are many things to be drawn out. This also includes information systems and or corporate business designs (plans).
Good Luck...

Also there are many courses for designing in computer to make a better picture of the building or layout or any object depending on the creativity of a person. its not necessary that only architecture student should learn the computer courses.Any body can learn
