Personally there is no souch thing as hard or easy, it depends on each individual actually. If you are daring enough to struggle life thru then I believe that from some point you'll get to where you wanted to be.

Hard is subjective, which is to say everyone has their own definition of what is hard. As far as being a successful independent woman in corporate America, I'd say you're given (or supposed to be given) the same chance as a guy considering it's the 21st century. Of course, there are always double standards that society perpetuates, so it may be a little more difficult. In reality, women are considered to be second-class citizens, which is utter BS in my eyes. However, there are tons of rich and successful women who can stand on their own. One day, I'm going to be one of them. ^-^

not it's not hard. it's actually fun and at the same time a great challenge. an independent signifies its strong characteristics and it is just showing that women are now empowered. it's not only men who will be the master on everything right now.

there are a lot of women right now who are idolized by a lot of people and women who rule their country.

i said that being independent is fun because you can do all the things that you want to do but we also have to know what are our limits to enjoy this independence.

if you're used to having someone provide for you, it can be quite hard in the beginning. but when the need for survival hits you cold in the face, you'll soon get the hang of it-- cos you simply need to do it.

if you're new in the workforce, then welcome to the sometimes hard, sometimes chaotic, but oftentimes crazily funny world of workers-- it's all up to you how you want to view it.

if you think something is hard to do, then it becomes too hard for you. if you think something is quite easy-- no matter if it seems to get harder by the day-- then it can be easy for you. it's all dependednt on how you have psyched yourself to do a certain task--

i've been working my *** off for three long years, trying to pull myself together and make a name in my own field. id been jobless for years and well provided for by an ex hubby. but things can and do drastically change as you live your life; and i found myself needing to work once again..

was it hard? YES. of course. but did i quit? no way! because no matter how hard, i never lose track of my goals. and im almost at it.

good luck and peace to you. *smiles*
