When i confront him he gives me meaningless excuses

Ok, mom reality check. As long as you continue to baby him he will stay there forever. Make him find a permanent job and his own home. You done your job raising him. Now tell him its time for him to be grown. The excuses will never stop. Dont feel like you have to keep him at home. He is a grown man and needs to act like one. Remember you are the parent he is the adult child. Take control!!!

You are not alone on this one!, the only thing you can do is encourage him if he tries to find work, take a one on one approach, go with him to check out some jobs, it might just embarrass him enough to look for himself?

Kick him out. Its about time that he gets his life on track. Set deadlines for his eviction.

kick him out of the house. tell him to rent his own apt. tell him to get a life beause you will not be there for him forever.
