Yes. If a young man wants to date a woman at this point in her life something might be wrong with him emotionally. This stage in a 15 year old there is growth still needed and dealing with a complex issues and decisions is not good. Later when the 15 year old is grown (18+) that age difference is OK.

Take your time. You only have 17 years to be a child. And many to be an adult.

Well if you have sex he could go to jail and be labled a child molester and a sex offender the rest of his life. If that is acceptable then it is ok.

I personally do not think there is anything wrong with it. 3 years is not much an age difference. Now if he were much older than 18 I would not agree ever.

It is not what you or I think that really matters though. The government says 15 year olds are not old enough to make these types of decisions and there is nothing we can do about it.

Dating, no. Having sex...yes. An 18 year old is considered an adult, whereas a 15 year old is still a minor. Mind you, I'm sure most 15 year old girls out there are more mature than most 18 year old guys (LOL) but I'm answering this question from a legal standpoint.

A 17 yr old girl going out with a 20 yr old boy sounds better.

When I was 17 I met my future husband who was 24. My parents were not thrilled....my dad actually showed him his hair trigger 44 the first time he met him (yes, he did.)

That fella and I are 11 years into a marriage that's still looking pretty good....

So...who knows....but, for some reason, 17 and 20 sound better than 15 and 18......I guess it's those couple extra years of so called "maturity"......ha..... ~:o)

For many states, it's illegal, but only enforceable if the parents report you for statuatory rape for having sex.

It's funny because you can marry the girl in certain states when she's 16 with parent's permission.

I think the 18 year boy can date the girl, but will have to wait 3 more years for the relationship to go up a notch ... if you know what I mean.

If there is an 18 year old guy who has any interest in a 15 year old girl, hes got bad intentions. Thats all i got to say.

Not really. Of course, if that means sex than it's considered statutory rape. If they are just going out, like on a date, then it's Ok. Their age diffrerence is not that great. When he's 20, she''ll be 17.

But think about it, years back, people were getting married at age 14. Some even younger. Unmarried women at 20 is considered old maid. Society's norm has changed.

There really is nothing wrong with that, though they made it illegal... Nothing is at all wrong with that until you feel that it is.

You two have feelings for each other, you can't help it.

I mean... When I was 14, I dated an 18 year old and we didn't even do anything bad. He went to school with me.

Believe me, if you were 24, the guy'd only be 27, and it wouldn't really make a different at all.

Yes because a 15 year old is still legally a child and an 18 year old is legally an adult. Hello child molestation charges.

Uh, dear, at the moment, you are jailbait.

Either wait until YOU turn 18 or date boys who are under 18.
