how disgusting music is now. i hardly listen to the radio because i dont wanna hear it. and no im not old im a teenager.

Well... I'm an old fart. I find that the music of today's youth is exciting and very innovative. I've been playing guitars for 40 years and the music made now days has really challenged me.
I don't listen to the radio much either. The big record companies have turned a lot of music into a formula that sounds like it came off of a production line at a factory. Most radio stations use play lists and rarely deviate from them.
My suggestion is that you tune into college radio and see what is new and upcoming. Use the Internet to explore sites like www.garageband.com. The downside is that you will come across a lot of bad music as well.
Post a question here asking people what they like and why.
Explore some of the more traditional forms of music such as classical or jazz for something completely different.
I like Mozart and Miles Davis as well as Sublime, Metallica and Tool to name a few. I was raised on The Beatles and classic rock but can only listen to so much of that now.

I'm in my 30's and, yeah, I pretty much find it disgusting, I don't listen to the radio much either. If I do, I find a station that plays mostly classics. But the television is where you'll find out what's in the mind of the artist, and producers of the videos, when it was first recorded. I prefer gospel music, but mainly Christian Hip Hop.

actually, i think it really depends. yes. i totally agree on the most part but there is still good stuff out there. try out maybe some good cds or new bands instead of the radio. the radio just plays crap.
