denaturisation is a sign of altered enzyme shape, protein shape and structure is very important for dealing with specific substrate. when the enzyem is denatured, it doesn't undergoes chemical change but a microscopic physical change due to temp, pH and .... i suddently can't think of any other, well , anyway i come back to that. if the enzyme in your cell is denatured first it depends on which enzyme, assuming all enzyme is denatured, your tissue will soon undergoes necrosis and dengenerate, for example if your ATPase doesn't work the emzye is unable to use ATP to push calcium put of the cell agaisnt concentration gradient, ionic concentration in the cell can not be maintained, influx of calcium ion will caused the acitvation of lysosome which the cell will die because internal organelles are phagocytosed by lysosomal enzyme (this enzyme is not denatured under normal tissue degeneration process, however if your tissue is exopose to extreme high temperature no emzymic denaturisation will take place, your tissue is just simply decomposit by the heat. in the long run as well as necrosis that enzyme denaturisation can cause it can also caused apoptosis which is also a cell death program (this can take forever), overall, enzyme denaturisation caused your tissues to die and you will die too, lol^^

Denaturation is the process by which the enzyme(peotein) or tissue looses it's natural property. It can b done by a change in pH level,high temp,etc. A good example of denaturation of proteins is boiled eggs. the solid egg yellow(core) and the white r actually coagulated proteins.

For enzymes, it pretty much stops their activity. I dont like the links in a chain analogy... the main links are still intact after denaturation. The minor links, that cause folds and ridges and kinks, are destroyed, as well as interactions with other chains/ enzymes/ cells/etc.
If enzymes are disrupted, cells cannot function, and may burst (lyse), this cause tissue damage, inflamation, burning or.. cooking.

its like destroying a link of chains
since our tissues are made of proteins, it can be denatured but dont worry our body has mechanisms to counter denaturation same also for enxymes, it can easily be replaced

a good example of denaturization is the cooking of an egg. The egg white is composed of the protein albumin and it's clear in color until it's cooked, the heat denatures the albumin and the clear color turns white. It's the same principle of what happens in our body when denaturization takes place

well enzymes and tissues are proteins. proteins depend on one thing to keep their shape- bonds. if they lose their 3D shape, they lose their function. so denaturation breaks these bonds (mostly the hydrogen bonds). this causes the protein to loosen. once they're loose, they can't work. i mean, you can't hold a banana with your hands open. you need them together and in a specific shape
