Death in "The Sims 2," for PC???

Question

Please help her!!!
My wife in the sims 2 is alone, I died and now she is alone and sad.
I would like to know how to bding him back to life.
This is my 1st time playing the game, and I guess I started playing as an adult, I should have begin playing as a kid/ child or something below ADULT.
by the way, I have read somewhere that right before the grim takes mylife, I should let someone who is really good friend of mine, i.e. my wife to try to fight him or something, anyhow, I tried clicking on him but I could not.

Oops!- the mischief you can get into! It really does help to create other sims to play first, help you get your training wheels spinning but living dangerously is what we do sometimes. ;)

If you have not exited and saved the game... If other Sims living in the same house have relationship scores that are very high to the sim that is about to be 'reaped', those sims must be selected as the active plumb bob sim and must go to Mr Grim and plead and plead for the sim in question.

It most always works! You need to get the active sim there in time while Grim is still hanging around. Relationship scores must be high to ensure 100% but lower score relationships can sometimes succeed.

If you quit and saved the game after the sim (your SimSelf) died, then it will be too late to plead for his life with Grim. eg, your wife sim should have clicked on Grim and pleaded like crazy.

Failing that, if you have the Uni EP, you can get the sim resurrected with one of the objects that is in the game. For example, if a kid from the family goes to the town University as a young adult, and if they join the Secret Society, they will have access to the device. You need to pay a lot of $imoleans to do this or the family member comes back as a Zombie. This method takes more time to do obviously so there may be a wide discrepancy in family ages when the resurrected sim returns.

You can also resurrect your Selfsim if needed, by using SimPE to remove the "I am Dead" marker. SimPE can be gotten here:
