Why don't they east pork in the middle east???

-heard yout not allowed yo eat something cleaner ,smarter, and prettier then yourself.

well bullits are of the west and they have been eating plenty of those lately

Most cultures have some sort of dietary laws. This often starts as a way of differentiating between two tribes - "We're better because we don't eat those nasty animals".

However, I would not be surprised if there is a certain cultural evolution that occurs in respect to certain areas. Notably, it's possible that a non-jewish tribe in the middle east got wiped out or nearly wiped out due to trichinosis in an undercooked pork, and the other local tribes went "Whoa, maybe those Jews are on to something!" Have this happen a few times over a thousand years or so, and you have a very ingrained dietary law.

Note that the hindu prohibition on eating beef has a slightly different slant and a more recent origin. Cattle are actually more economic sources protein through milk than they are through beef. I have heard that the prohibition on eating beef was started less than a thousand years ago when a rather wise person noted that the cows could feed more people alive than dead but that the only way to keep people from slaughtering them was to make them sacred. This allowed cows to prosper in heavily populated areas.

.He was afraid to eat my cooking in fear I would add pork to something I cooked.

It is against their religion to eat pork. But you must also remember it is against their religion to drink alchol, party and have sex before married.

But they seem to take the pork thing very seriously. When ever we had an argument, I thought about cooking something with pork. But I never did, he did not trust me, so he did all the cooking

. And no we did not divorce because I served him pork. It is almost like they worship a pig over there and are against the killing of pigs.

I guess Allah saids no pork so no pork, and what would Allah think if an aerobic went to the mosk to pray and said he ate pork.... But yet they have no problem with sex, cheating on their wives, and getting drunk.

Because the Talmud says you cannot eat pork. The Bible was derived from the Talmud and the Koran was derived from the bible and so no, Jews and Muslims do not eat pork. Christians feel they are better then the rest, and so do as they like and only obey the parts of the Bible that suit them.

The rest of us don't need an excuse. Bacon tastes good. Pork-chops taste good.

yes........pork ( and lard ...etc ) is not allowed to be eaten for muslims ( and jews , as well .. ) ... because it's an unclean , disgusting animal . we avoid blood to the same reason . dead animals because it may be dead due to a disease , and because it keeps blood in its meat . cows and sheeps are too sufficient and suitable animals .....
but how do fruit_snacks say we worship pigs !!!!!!!!
we disgust pigs more than any other animals .....and what would she say if wasn't she married from a muslim ?????

because most people in the middle-east are Muslims who follow the teachings of God as mentioned in the Qur'an

Some people in the middle east are Christians who do eat pork.

i think its a culutral thing...

people in some coutries dont eat beef becaues cows are considered as pet and regarded as mother..but its not the same everywhere.

And people in some countries dont eat dog as they are considered pet but its doesnt apply everywhere.

and people in some countries people dont eat horse as they are considered pet

But
in middle east they are considered as unholy, or not good or dirty...thats why they dont eat pork there...in fact as i have heard thy dont even touch it...i also heard that it was written something like that in kuran...
