If you knew how you'll die in the future but then did something to prevent it, then you'd create a paradox, because then your precognition would be false and acting on it would be pointless.
There's another possibility that you could know how you'll die in the future but you'd be unable to do anything about it. This would be consistent with determinism, but just imagine how much anxiety you would feel in your life. Would it be worth it?

I do not share the view that we are all going to die some some day. Death is when one is separated from the Most High. Only when you choose to break the laws of the Most High do you die, now how many people on this website even know what I am writing about when I refer to the MOST HIGH. To those that might be mistaken in thinking that I might be referring to Christianity, let them know that Christianity is an opposition to the laws of the Most High and that all those that call themselves Christians as spiritually dead already and its just matter of time before they finally cease to even be thought of as ever having inhabited this Earth that the Most High gave to those that fear HIM to live and inherit it for ever. All praise and honour to the Yah of Yisrael and Yacov.

Holy crap. I AM going to die in the future! I mean, if I had died in the past, I could not be writing this pithy response.
Do I know anything about this? Well, I know that all living things die. It is in their nature. And I know that time is linear, and the past is past, the future in the future.
What will I do? Well, I guess I'll just keep going on as I have. And one day, I will not.

If i couldn't avoid it then nothing. If I knew when then I would do things different. I guess I should now. I'm already 16. I could put some deep famous quote but its been said too much to matter as powerfully. I should do things differently now.

i'd spend all my money doing everything i ever wanted to do, i'd write a book and go see my favourite band a million more times. but to answer your real question since i've now read it properly. i would do what ever i could to stop it, because i hate that old 'your number's up theory' it scares the crap out of me.

Nope. Wouldn't worry about it. When God decides it's my time I'm ready. Some days I wish it would happen sooner. So ready for heaven!

if i knew how, i'd accept.. can't cheat death.. :) and it really doesn't matter how i die - the means maybe different but we all are going to end dying anyway... and when dead, it doesn't matter at all how you died, it's all about how you've lived. :)
