Well, I was going into my teens when SS began, but my sister was at the right age to benefit. I played with her and taught her everything I had learned in my junior high Spanish, French and German language sampler class. She was a sponge. I don't know if it was SS or simply her impressionable age. But one thing I do think SS does for kids is show them they're important enough to have a special show just for kids that's on every day. Perhaps there is a self-esteem benefit?

Peace.

Sesame street teaches kids that vampires love to count stuff and monsters love cookies. How can that be bad?

here's an idea throw out your TV's, who says they should watch any television, they have the rest of their lives to get distracted with nonsense, give them a shot at activities and their own creativity. They will survive, trust me, My whole family picked up instruments and art utensils and we all are so gifted and free of garbage.
