I started the first line of a story and then each of you add a single
line to the asnwer above it? This way we may come up with more than one story? Truly need help here. Please keep it 'decent'....

so, he decided to take up with a math teacher instead. she kept him busy with suduku puzzles and Math 24 games. his mind was such a blur with all of this math that his kingdom fell into ruins. rioting was happening in the streets, looting became rampant and it was general chaos everywhere. What was to become of this once peaceful kingdom? Something had to be done about the math teacher and QUICKLY! but what?

corky, the bell ringer had an idea...

at noon, he'd invite the math teacher up to the bellfry to count the number of times that the bell rang out. she'd be sure to come. once she was in the tower, it would be so loud in there, she wouldn't be able to hear him swinging the gong against calculator. without her calculator, she'd be lost.

at noon, as planned, the math teacher followed corkey up to the bellfry to count the irresistable twelve gongs as they rang out throughout the kingdom.

as planned, corkey took the opportunity to swing the gong at the exact spot where the math teacher held her calculator. SMASH! into smithereens it flew! a million little pieces went flying and the math teacher watched in horror. there was nothing that could be done. the bell struck ten, eleven, twelve and she ran done the bellfry steps never to be seen again.

and corky went back to the kingdom to address the king and let him know the sad news. as for the king...

Paris didn't know how to ride a horse and couldn't write poetry...but she just knew that the question she was going to ask the emperor would win the competition for her.

Because the princesses would not participate the emperor grew to dislike the pretentious attitude of royalty. So....

Not so fast......Upon waking, the emporer realized he had been dreaming. He was so happy, for he surely wasn't ready for someone who believed they had lived amongst trolls, witches, fairies, and such.
