More likely, the "end of the world" will surely be the destruction of the planet's living energy utilitiy structure, followed by massive wide building structural destruction spanning entire cities everywhere. By this realiziation, people will die by thousands each passing minute, likely to starvation...followed by death by disease.
Man will literally go to war against man in a survival conquest; "civil" wars will flourish everywhere: society's civilized structure of living will also be destroyed.
I shudder to think beyond that.................

The world may or may not end. It could happen a minute and a half from now or a zillion years from now. It could happen when there are people on Earth or it may not happen until, maybe, populations have thinned out for some reason.
What I think about it......I don't. You can't. There's no point. You just assume it won't happen and live your life.

The end is near.
Look at all the natural disasters that are happening more frequently.
There are more new and strange diseases.
Technology is advancing at a breakneck pace.
These have all been revealed in the Bible.

It'll happen one day, but none of us will be around to see it -- it is hundreds of millions of years in the future, when the sun runs out of helium in its core and turns into a red giant, eating earth in the process. I am not particularly nervous about it.
