when I lived in the south american jungles we would moisten our top sheet and as it evaporates it cools. Don't soak them, just get them damp and get a fan on the bed.

Hi! Have you got any fans, especially window fans? That may help, but I'm not so sure. It's hot here and my AC is working, but it's still hot in the house. I think a lot has to do with the humidity.

visit the neighbors until it's repaired. Other than that a good fan and a cold shower might cool you off enough to get to sleep.

Lay in a tub of cold water for awhile, it will bring your body temperature down and make you more comfortable to sleep. Get a couple of fans going from different directions in your room, so you have a nice wave of air circulating.

If you have any fans, PLACE them facing OUT. That draws the HOT AIR out without bringing any hot air in.
Take a cool shower.
