I need my bills paid for in a hurry. My doctor is going to release me sometime this week. How long did it take you? Or how long do you think? Does my baby get pain and suffering since she was in the car too and the window busted in on her(but suffered no physical injuries) she did cry for 2 days straight after the fact.

You should wait until you are healed, or medical treatment has substantially been completed, before you begin the process of seeking damages -- because the amount that you can get will be based upon how much it cost to fix you and your property (car). Then, the time it takes for you to recover your damages will depend primarily upon who you are trying to recover damages from -- IE: your insurance company, another driver's insurance company, etc. -- and how quickly they respond to your demand for damages. It could take years as the other answerer said -- or it could be resolved in a quick matter of months. Your attorney would be the best resource for this information. If your baby sustained no injuries in the accident, she will not be able to recover any damages. Good luck.

It may take years. I had a friend that it took 5 years to get the settlement. It probably depends on the case. Some may take longer, others may not be that long.
