But you have to take an English test or something like that to get a job. My parents did. My pops an engineer while my mom's a nurse.

Last year, Las Vegas public schools were recruiting teachers from the Phillipines so I would assume that a college degree from there is useful.

It depend on what is your major, but in most of case, you have to retake classes in USA to get a job in your field.
It will help when you are looking for jobs which doesn't require special skill. It's almost like having a Art degree from US colleges.
