I have a Verizon plan text , once i send 1 text message that never got to a Cell phone in Costa Rica , and they charge me for it, i've send some more but i dont get international messages neither send them cuz they dont reach the person, any thing that i can do to send/get international texts?

you can text internationally
its better to call the customer service
as far as i know to dial international you need to add 011 + international dial code (+ regional code) + cell phone.
but confirm by contacting your customer care...

you can, actually. I suggest to go to your mobile service provider and ask what their company requires to send messages internationally. like if the plan of payment you're on supports international text messaging or whatever. It's also possible that the person you sent the message to doesn't support international text messaging (yes, it's possible) so even if you sent the message and got charged for it, he/she wasn't able to receive it.

Actually verizon support both local and international call,
but regarding to text messages i think there are some thing you should do first inorder to send one

i get international texts all the time from the states to germany you have to have the right ph num or it wont work and you will still get sharged an operator might help
