what is really devastating is the National Hurricane Center's report that "global warming" has nothing to do with the number of hurricanes......see www.nhc.noaa.gov for the homepage and do some searching, or go to the table in the link below and you can see the number of hurricanes per decade has been going DOWN since 1950........

1.- Global warming is a real menace for humankind let me give you an example in mexico city some years ago it was very weird that very samall pieces of ice to fall from the sky when rainig and in the last 4 weeks twice have been falling mareball size ice that only means that wether has been changing (only cuz of global warming)

2.- Not only liberals are worried by global warming (where would you get that idea) cuz we all live in this world and all of us have to take care of it

3.- I don't know if the lack of hurricanes you say is normal or weird but if it's normal then its' good but if it's a weird change in the wether then it's bad it's really bad (i guess that's it for the example i gave about the pieces of ice)

I hope you learned that global warming exists and you start thinking twice befor you pollute

It's still early.
Besides, while you guys are hurrican free over there, on the other side of Pacific, we've witness a astonising number of hurricans being formed. Last week three hurrican formed, this week there was two more. China already witnessed several hundered death due to flooding and strong gust.
Don't be so self centric and think that global warming only affects Americans.

I can't believe how divided you Americans are....the worst I've ever seen in all my 40-something years.
You're more excited to point out "I told you so, I told you so, Democrats suck". To me, the whole point of that should be that you're very HAPPY the hurricanes have not hit hard yet as these are your fellow countrymen and women and some of the people in the danger areas are your family.
I think it's time you all STOP pointing the finger at someone else and come together as a country.
Your stupid bickering is nauseating and childish!

Are politically motivated non-questions emotionally satisfying, or is it just the idea of causing someone else the frustration you feel somehow makes it bearable for you? Just asking, because that seems to be a pattern in your question history....

Or do you get paid by a political spin group to influence public opinion like the guys that produced the Al Gore spoof and posted it to pass as an amature clip on MyTube?

I'm a liberal, I worship the GOGW, but I still drive an SUV and my wife does too. Hurricanes are not important to me. I live in California.

No I just get on the computer and search for Pat Robertson at the 700 Club and send him money and he has the power to move and stop hurricanes also he cured me of my hemorrhoids.

I'm a Liberal, but I think all this "global warming" stuff that Al Gore is talking about is all bull$hit, at least in my opinion.

I'm sure the Gore-ites are disappointed so far. I'm very grateful since I just bought a house in Galveston. LOL
