can u get a virus downloading music off of limewire?

DEFINITELY.... you can get anything anyone has attached to the file plus you get a truck load of ads, adware, and spyware from most of the sites as well.

absolutely, viruses can be attached to anything, if u can download it there can be a virus attached to it, i used limewire for awhile and had alot of problems with getting viruses, if ur going to download music, get a virus scanner and scan the files as u download them

You won't get virus downloading music with proper format, i.e. .mp3, .wav, etc.
Be careful when u download a .zip file, although the risk is minimal, you have to keep your anti-virus software up to date.
when u unzip the file, don't simply open any *wierd* files with *wierd* extensions.
You can get anything unwanted from the net if you are not cautious, it might not as harmful as virus, but adware, spyware, malware which might also cause u some minor problems.

can u i have limewire 2 and sum thing came up when i was going to download a song saying sum stuff bout the law but after dis i went to my library and delete all kind of songs i hope u dont get a virus my cuz has'nt and his been using it for bout 2 years

I got one when I used Limewire. Now I just switched back to iTunes.

no it's not true you can get a virus if you download music if it has a virus on it.

if you have a Macintosh, you can't get a virus
but on a windows, you can, and have, and probably do right now.
