Personally, I liked Lotus Notes the best. This is an email client software program i had on the job and it had endless features. The most impressive was the databasing of items. It had phonebook list, filtering, and was not hard to use in checking my company mail or personal emails. MS Outlook Express seems to be targeted by hackers and always has a release of vulnerability of virus. Mozzilla Thunderbird we be my second choice, but they are too now at ends with security failures. Outlooks is most comaptible, Mozzilla is on the rise. I would use Lotus Notes if the price is right. For indepth look, check out the site sourced below. Regular internet free email is doing the trick though, thanks yahoo. Good luck !

They're all just about equal. Some of the Eudora features won't be available to you in the free version.
I've only used the first two as an IMAP client and never had any problems. Eudora I've used as IMAP and POP. It seems to have problems with POP accounts as the amount of mail grows. Table of contents files (TOC) seem to be somewhat easily corruptable but that's easily fixed.
All in all, they're probably about the same. If you have to support any of them, I'd suggest going with Outlook Express only because there are more support options.

Mozilla Thunderbird combined with GMAIL is the best!
Thunderbird gives you stability and the ease to setup and use
Gmail gives you lots of space (like 3 times of yahoo/hotmail)

I personally use Thunderbird, but Outlook is good being that it has a calendar built in with it, which comes in handy when you need to write down appointments.

unquestionably i do in comparison to each of them. i could use Microsoft Outlook. yet whilst i had to decide on from the record above it may be the Eudora. Outlook would be the mose compatable. however the Eudora in all probability has the main cool helpful factors.

Web Based email.
You will never lose the data, you can acess it anywhere, it's free, you can use several different adresses, ie: one for personal, one for business, one to regester to a web page that is just going to spam you anyway, etc. If your inbox is filled with spam, it isn't taking up space on your hard drive, you only download what you want.
I have used it for years
