Yeah, I did hear about that a couple of weeks ago. My little bro works there and that's what he said. They were going to start focusing more on the higher ups in the company stealing billions than the kid stealing a CD

Actually the new rule states that if someone steals an item(s) worth under $25 they will not prosecute you. That doesn't mean you wont be banned from the store... you just wont go to jail for it. Financially it just isn't worth the price of a lawyer to sue for that pack of Bic pens the thief so desperately needed. They're concentrating on those who steal bigger items and employees whom pocket thousands.

Stealing is stealing. And if you have a lot of people who steal small amounts, the company is bound to lose boatloads of money. Good for Walmart.

It is hard to believe that Walmarts has a policy like that. That's like saying, "Come and get It." I really have to doubt that one.
