LOL!
I have lived in this house a long time and so did my grandparents before me.
Assorted old tools...hammers, duct tape..all sizes of screwdrivers, wire cutters and other assorted widgets (hahahaha)
And a cake server.
Great question.

Food, plastic bags, bottles of canola and olive oils, jars with paper clips and plastic bread bag holder thingies and the little metal twisty things off corned beef cans and other things i do not have a name for, spices, a travel sewing kit (no, make that two), medications, aluminum foil oven burner protectors, magnets, mail.....and those are just the things i can see without digging. I am actually afraid to dig any deeper, because for all i know Jimmy Hoffa might be buried in there, as well.....

I have a fake plant in a planter, (since I cannot have REAL plants, my cats find them to be oh so much fun to eat... BLUCK! Kitty salad.) I have a stale box of cocoa puffs that no one can seem to stomach anymore since getting a rabbit... (they look too much like rabbit droppings and well, I just CANT DO IT MAN!) I have a dusty phone book, (I keep it around in case I would like to do some dusty drunk dialing one of these nights...) Oh there is a fridge top up there somewhere I just know it, I just haven't seen it in awhile!

I have paper towel, napkins, kleenex, and toliet paper only because I have no linen closet and therefore the kitchen is next door to the bathroom and it saves me on space I don't have in my apartment. THe frig is the place for bowls and bread atleast that's my jist from growing up, I use to have a bowl with my breads in it and decided the paper products took up more space.

A large container of cereal, and a brass vase. I keep them there to hide my .44 special(next week the .45 acp goes up). OOOPS, guess it's not a secret anymore.

An extra piece of wood from the molding around my cabinets and a lazy susan-thing that I can't decide what to do with.
I just moved in a few months ago...not enough time to accumulate too much...

I have old magnets, garbage bags (so I know where they are to replace the bags on garbage night), extra lightbulbs, my medication (I have to take them with food, so keeping them there reminds me to take them with dinner), and a box of ziplock bags.

Only one thing , my pistol. I keep it there as I like to have a clean top to my fridge but I love to target practice as I go to the fields and it is also for protection when I am in the fields and outside where I can't see who pulls in. Ya never know :(

Plants (which are everywhere in the house) and one pair of scissors, for opening those blister-sealed packages. There is also a key to the storage shed, when I remember to put it back...which isn't often...
