what are women supposed to do, when they realise that their unborn child is dead? What happens with the fetus? Where do they go to get rid of it? What do doctors/clinics do when this happens?

Oh, I was just asking a question, because I always wondered about it. It was merely curiousity, nothing more.

Generally, the woman is induced into labor, and delivered of the stillborn child. If the mother so wishes, most drs will allow the child to be buried/cremated as if it had been born alive and then died. If still early in pregnancy, a DNC is performed, in which the uterus is scraped and flushed clean of the dead embryonic material. The fetus is usually liquefied by this time as a result of the procedure, and is disposed of as biohazard materials, like cancerous tumors and severed limbs.

Very graphic, and very hard for many people to deal with, but death happens every day, and sometimes before we are born.

I am not sure why you are asking this question? There is no way for you to know the baby is dead without a doctor checking this and the doctor would have taken care of it. If the baby was dead your body would have tried to abort the baby itself.
I think what you are saying is that you are pregnant, and you have not seen a doctor an maybe you haven't felt the baby move so you think it is dead. Which is not true sometimes they are just quiet.
Anyway you look at you should be in the care of a doctor if you are pregnant. If you are afraid that your parents might find out. Go to your local clinc for teens and adults. If you do not meet the guide lines for free help they can not refuse you!!!!!
See someone now!!!!!

It depends on how far along you are in a pregnancy when you miscarry. If you miscarry right in the beginning, you may just bleed it out, as if you were menstruating. When you miscarry a little later when the fetus is more developed, you do need to go to the doctor. They will remove the fetus in the same fashion as an abortion. It will be unpleasant, but you will get a serious infection if the miscarried fetus is not removed. If it is late in the pregnancy, it will still be unpleasant, as the doctor may induce a labor, where you would have to, in essence, give birth to a still born.

Its is important that fetous should be removed from the womens body as it is risk to your health cuz it can cause serious infection and risk to ur health,By law if the fetous is less than 20 weeks normally hospitals they keep the fetous for further tests, but if it is more than 20 weeks parents can perform funeral, for fetous less than 20 weeks hospitals do perform funerals and they do ask you to come and attend it .

It is a type of abortion mostly via cesearian section, but the quickest it is resolved the better so that no complications hit you.
Be cool about it and follow the surgery then the remedy to the dot. This does not mean you cannot have children anymore.

If they aren't very far along the doctors do a D & C. It's basically just cleaning you out. If your very pregnant they induce labor and you deliver. If it's delivered you have it buried...if it's a D & C they put it in with other hazardous waste, unless you have other wishes.
