Yes it does, Garlic has antiviral and antibacterial qualities as well as antifungal. It also has qualities that unclot blood and help to slough plaque off your arteries, the coolest of the cool of home prevention. Another good thing to do is drink a tsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water a day. Has 22 essential minerals and such. Research on the web. Add a tsp of honey to that and you have even more antiviral and antibacterial frontlines.

Garlic has been shown to reduce cholesterol, and you'll probably catch fewer colds, no one will be able to stand the smell of you, to get close enough to give you one! Use garlic capsules instead, same benefit, less stink!

pilots of airplanes aren't aloud to eat garlic because it makes their mental status not so clear, but raw garlic is good for you if you aren't trying to perform surgery the ony down side is that it comes out your pours and it is not a friendly smell. Enjoy it with ceratin foods but don't make it part of your regiment.

All I know is that garlic is good for you. I don't know how much you gotta eat though. And when you do eat the stuff, make sure everyone around you eats it too, or nobody will come near you! If everybody eats it, then nobody notices how bad they smell after!

It is much easier, and you won't stink if you take Garlique. It is a tablet that you take once a day and it helps keep you healthy. It is completely odorless and costs about $15 for a 60 day supply. Very inexpensive. I have been taking it every day for about 4 years. You can find it easily at any grocery or drug store.
Now git yourself some garlique and pick me for best answer ya dern varmint!

you'll have some pretty kickin breath, that's for sure. i believe it helps with lowering cholesterol and also supposedly helps with colds and flus. however, my brother had a cold once and our dad fed him a clove of garlic. soon after my brother had a cold and an upset stomach.

Garlic is a natural germ killer, antiseptic, good for lung infections, and blood thinner. Some people say it can lower blood pressure. It is very good for you and considered naturally medicinal. Here are a few links i found for ya:
