Do you think those guys really were just planning to make profit, or do you think they planned on blowing up the bridge?

Well, unlike the rude jerks that have responded before me, I'll answer without being an a$$ to u.

They could sale them on ebay for profit, or sale them to others for whatever reason. it could happen.

However, I think I agree with the government and police on this one. They baught ALL those phones, and had lots of pics and suck of the bridge. Yes, something is definitely fishy about it. There could be more evidence they aren't telling yet too, never know.

I'm glad they got them before they had the chance though.

Think about it:

1.) These guys are supposedly unemployed, but come up with $20,000+ in CASH and can't explain where they got it.

2.) They traveled to at least three different states to buy these phones. The gas costs alone would have eaten up any profits they might have made.

3.) They said they were going to sell the phones after they threw out the packaging, charger, and manual - you know, all the things that make it worth using as a phone. Would *you* pay for that when you could get the whole thing at WalMart?

4.) They went out of their way to circumvent security measures that prevent people from buying such massive quantities. Does that sound like honest businessmen to you?

5.) Speaking of which, they could have opened up a legitimate business and bought all they wanted to from the distributor. Ah, but that would have been traceable.

6.) It's also well established that they had, shall we say, shown an unhealthy interest in a bridge of major importance.

7.) They're supposedly from Texas but hanging around in Michigan with a large community of Anti-American Muslims who refuse to assimilate but instead tried to force the city to play their prayer calls five times a day over loudspeakers erected at public expense. What do you think they were up to?

Get real. These guys are terrorists, and only a Michael Moore or a terrorist sympathizer could even pretend to think anything else.

If some one bought phones at wall-mart or anywhere else for that matter....
Who would buy them and give them a profit????
A normal person would just buy them at wal-mart themselves wouldn't they ????
Something is not on the up and up.!!!!
5.00 profit on 1 phone... My god that wouldn't cover there gasoline money...

Of COURSE they are terrorists. Why would they take the phones out of the packages if they were trying to sell them?
