They have definitely improved from last year. Arrington is a huge improvement if he can stay on the field. Madison and Webster are huge upgrades over the Will's. They were a bust. And Will Demps will complement to Gibril Wilson. I feel they will be one of the best safety duo's in the NFC. Strahan and Osi are the best DE duos in the league. Add Kiwanuka on top of that, and they will be even better. Their only weak spot is the defensive tackles. I worry about the loss of Clancy. If we are weak up the middle, Pierce will have no help and they will run all over us. Overall though, we are improved from last year.

From a fantasy standpoint, they're ok. They were third in the NFL in takeaways last season and should improve this year because they have some DB's that'll actually catch the ball. They'll give up points though. They're more valuable if special teams touchdowns count towards defense because they have good return men.
