It has rear anti-lock brackes. Disconnect the module for these to the right of the master cylinder for a few minutes. if the light goes out, you don't have a problem. If it comes back, something with the anti-lock brakes is wrong.

check the fluid in your brake reservoir. If this is border line low it will blink the light on. Also check the tightness of your emergency brake lever/pedal, if this is not releasing all the way due to rust or corrosion this will also cause your brake light to come on and off and bug the crap out of you. you might check your brake fluid to see if it is low. i used to have a car that did that. all i did was fill the brake master cylinder up and no more light.
