I think you're too young. The age difference isn't a factor, it's your age. You are what is termed as "jail bait," meaning if he isn't careful, he'll end up in jail! You are so young, why are you worrying about boyfriends at all? Get a little older, get some schooling, get to the point you can take care of yourself and you have a better idea of who you are, then you may be ready for a relationship!

In most states, it is ok if there is 3 years or less between the 2 of you. But since he is 4 years older, honey he could go to jail for a long time or have a record for sexual assault for the rest of his life. If you thought that this relationship was ok, why haven't you taken him home to meet your parents? That is a question you should always ask yourself, if you are afraid your parents won't approve, then there might be something wrong with the situation, what is it, and should you do it? Life lesson, don't ruin your life and his. If it is meant to be, wait 2 more years when you are legal....

If you continue to have this relationship with him he can go to jail because you are under age. Do not think it won't happen it happened to a person I know in my life. He thought it was ok he was 24 and went out with a girl who said she was 17 she ended up being 15 but he had to serve a years time in jail. If you love him so much you would not want to risk him getting into trouble. I know it is flattering that a 20 year old is taking you out but you should find someone that is under 18. Mom would probably not like it. He will be 21 years old next year and would probably want to go to bars and you cannot go along. There are so many boys out there go for someone that you will have more in commen with and that you can experience things at the same time. Trust me on this one.

i'm 15 and he's 19. is soooooo understand!!! i say not to old or to young, but the law may say otherwise. sorry! advice, try not to have sex yet, or if u already are, then keep it on the down low. because ever if u are willing it is still rape in the laws eyes. ya..... it sucks!!!
when it comes to not seeing eachother, talk on phone often, and try to keep in touch, and rember, it just makes seeing eachother all the better when you don't see eachother that often.
more advice, when u tell your parents make sure ther are no car keys, phones, or guns around, because there first reaction is to want to kill this guy. reasrue them that you will come to them if u ever need help, or are having problems with him, and don't tell them his name yet if u can help it so thy can't call the cops on him.

I am 7 years older than my wife! Granted she was 19 when we met, but if I would have met her when she was 16..... I still would have asked her out, I think...... we just would have been friends for quite awhile, first. But, four years ain't nothin' but a thing!

love is a beautiful thing, but you are underage. He could be arrested. If you truly love each other, wait until you are 18.
