You'll definitely want a more powerful power supply. They're cheap now. Trying to use a power supply that doesn't have enough power can & will take out the motherboard.

A 450 watt psu from a decent company can be had for $50 now. This one has a 20-pin output, if that's what your motherboard requires: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817101513 This one has 24-pin, and is from a better company: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103459

Hard drive doesn't matter, same with the DVD drive. If it clearly states that you need a 350w power supply, then you need to get one. If not, your computer might not boot, video card won't work, and who knows? you can probably blow it up (not really possible, never seen someone blow up a computer like that). Also, if the video card makes your case too hot, then you might want to think of adding some fans, only if you think its too hot.

nop, ur pc is going to getr under a lot of presure and at the end u will be without either preocessor or motherboard, or worse evrything connected to ur PC...

Cause:
P (Watt) = U(Voltage)xI(Current)
ur can only supply 300W, while card needs 350W and u have a stable voltage on either 230V or 110V, so the card will need more current then it can be handled on ur pc. This will cause some very strange things, my advise get a card with lower Wats or change PC...

I would really rethink your choice to go with ATI. I have been using ATI since the Revolution #9. I recently added a 256 Mb PCI ATI and I have never been so dissapointed. I sent it back to ATI, along with a letter stating my complete dissatisfaction. It wont play any of my games or DVDs. Also, AMD is currently in the process of buying out ATI, future support may not be available. nVidia all the way.

I agree with everyone else...shell out a few bucks and upgrade your power supply. Why chance a multi hundred dollar investment when you can easily alleviate all your concernce with a 25 dollar purchase. Check out the power supply I found at tigerdirect.com

You not only risk burning out your PS but damaging your components in the process. You may get away with it, but for a $50 PS it is not worth the risk.
I would upgrade.
