It's good that you love your brothers so much...it sounds like a good family...a lucky family.
This is a new time in your life. A tough one, big changes are very difficult. They always will be.
Your brothers are about to go off and learn new things. They will probably become more distant for a while.... but believe me.... I'm forty years old.... my younger brother is 34.....he's always been six years younger than me.... he's made me proud a hundred times over.
Despite your youth, there will be a time when your brothers need you and not the other way around. Your brothers are lucky to have you .So do everyhing you can to be worth their love and friendship....even though you're sad that they're going away..
All the best to you and yours. Markus.

Most people feel pretty shy heading into high school, so remind yourself everyone else feels the same way, and force yourself to participate. Sigh up for at least one club or sport or something. It gets easier. I'm sorry about your brothers leaving for school. Do they have friends their age who are also leaving for school, and if so, do they have younger siblings being left at home? If so, that's a good place to start looking for some new friends, because those guys will be kind of lonely, too. Try not to spend all your time inside on the computer. And besides, you want your brothers to be proud of you, right? Won't they be surprised when they come home for the holiday break and see how you have become active in school and made new friends!

The best advise I can give you is to join a few after school activities when you start high school. There will be other new kids too who will be looking for friends. Be open and don't be too nervous--people don't bite! I also tend to try to make friends with people who are very talkative. The talkative people tend to do all the talking and all I have to do is listen! It takes all the hard work out of making friends. :)
Just remember, your brothers will still talk to you even if they are away at college (plus you can go visit!). I bet they will be homesick and will be happy to hear about high school. So, even if they are far, you will always remain close to them.
ONE thing. If you are painfully shy, maybe try talking to a couselor. Maybe there are underlying issues you need to work out. If you get too depressed always get help!
Good luck!

U are depresses coz u think to much about that thing. You have to try to be a little more socialize coz u didn’t live in this world just with ur family. U live with all kind of people who are interesting, fascinating and weird. Just enjoy ur school, make a new friend, don’t afraid to try anything good, and be a good person. Then, nothing will be a problem.

Tough question kid, just remember you are entering a new school with new faces, and I gaurantee that many of the freshmen are feeling the same way you do. Try to relax take deep breaths and when you go to class just say high to someone that looks freindly, I'm sure in a few months you will have alot of freinds. Remember confidence.

Think about your hobbies and what interests you. In high school you can join clubs that cater to your likes/dislikes.
The first day of high school is the hardest. I suggest bringing your lunch instead of buying it. (on my little sisters first day, she got stuck in a line to the cafeteria that lasted the entire lunch.) not a good start.
try to find out where all your classes are before your first day. It's horrible to be lost.
Don't waist too much time getting to the buses when schools over. You don't want to get left behind.
If you act like you know what you are doing, people will be drawn to you. This may be a good way to get new friends.
Once you've got the 1st day out of the way you can form your own routine. Good luck

Better make some friends you like to hang out with or the next 4 years will be very boring. Sorry that's just the way it is.

Don't worry , we all get nervous the first day or so of high school, there is alot of competition, but not to worry their will be many students like you. You will have a whole new bunch of friends, just hang in there and be yourself.

I am sure you will recognize students from your middle school and they will feel equally out of place in a big HS. Best thing to do is make a friend or friends. You can find people with similar interests. good luck

it'd be great to keep it touch with your brother even after they leave. highschool is a big step, but once you're there, it's just like last year. this would be a good time to spread your wings. your brothers have done so and it would be good for you to do the same. after you do, you'll wonder why you hadn't sooner. try to hang out with friends more. they may lead you to better things for you and help your character develop. i hope this helps you.
