This was inspired by an article on August 13, 2006 entitled "Astronomers Struggle To Define Planet" by the Associated Press.

Try the International Astronomical Union (below).

But I think that Xena is perfect (the 10th [xth] planet). And Gabrielle for the moon.

Exactly. It's astronomers that define it. Not you---unless you discover one yourself. Often that person has quite a lot of sway in naming it. And of course, discovering a star would also make you an astronomer.

By the way, what's your proposal?

I find it strange that they have not already named it in fact find it strange that not much information on the find has been published latly... you would think scientists would be all over this thing like ants on a popcicle! yeeeehaw!
