Chronologically speaking,
I survived childhood. There was a polio epidemic in Texas when we lived there, I was ten at the time. No vaccine had been invented as yet.
then I survived a tour in Vietnam from Oct 1967-Oct 1968.
But my crowning accomplishment would be 37 years of marriage to a very patient woman. I think she ought to be given a major award.
Oh, it takes second place to that, but just today I played "Fur Elise" by Ludwig Von Beethoven with no mistakes! And I only had six lessons!

I think the fact that I finished high school is a great accomplishment. I'm only 21 so I haven't really done anything yet.
When you read the statistics of how many dropouts there are and how many kids just don't care about school, I would say having my diploma is a great accomplishment to me. You think about it, you went to school on your own, you were able, you did the work, you made the efforts, so you should be proud of yourself if you graduated from high school.
Whats your biggest accomplishment?

I'm alive for one....I had a grapefruit sized tumor at 13 and I'm still here. Those 6 months were hard and I got thur that. I finished school and 2 years of college. I've giving birth and lived thur that. I could sit and think of many things I have done. Lots of little things. Accomplishments is doing something and finishing....

I used to be a lifeguard and just after finishing my training a few years ago, I was called to an elderly gent who had had a massive heart attack.
Two of us performed CPR on him and kept him going until the ambulance arrived. He got to hospital and his family came to him.
Unfortunately he died a week later, but our combined efforts gave he and his family a bit more time together.
To play even a small part in that process was an unbelievable feeling!

I raised 2700 dollars for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by running a marathon, 26.2 miles. I probably wrote over 300 letters, collected aluminum cans, and organized my own fun run with friends to get it done. It was A LOT of work.

relationships tend to top the list but other than my three kids with independent and strong personalities..............
my biggest accomplishment is that I finally bridged the gap and forged a new and stronger relationship with my mother.
I am 40 and she is 73 and boy we have more in common than I could ever have realised.

First one in my graduation class to retire and become independent - I was 48 when it happened. Just was in the right place at the right time doing the right thing.
