It's normal. Not that many is lost. 50 hair/day is ok. :-)

We all lose hair all the time every day, I think like 100 strands a day if I remember right. Some of it is bound to find its way into your brush... Some of it may be loose but not disconnected from the follicle, so it comes out only when you comb. Others are tangled up in the rest of your hair...

Lots of hair styling products in your hair, like gel? Stress? Not brushing your hair enough? Thick hair?

It's normal to lose 100 strands a day, don't forget.

Are you shedding a lot when you shower, too? It could just be stress.
