Its not the color; it all the protein buildup (from wearing them) that is on the contact itself that is giving you that discomfort.

Your contacts need to be cleaned on a regular basis and only worn for two weeks, max. If you don't wear the kind that you can actually wear while you sleep, take your contacts out before sleeping, and clean them..

Where did you find black contacts..I think THAT is cool!

Good luck to you.

First of all, if you didn't get the lenses from an eye doctor (even if there's no power in the lens), stop using them as you can cause severe damage to your eyes. Recently, congress passed a law that outlawed the distribution of cosmetic contact lenses without a prescription, and for good reason. If you're going to wear any type of contact lens, you need to talk to your eye doctor about it. As for your problem, the color of the lens has nothing to do with what you're experiencing. You need to see your eye doctor about this and will probably have to discontinue the wear of the lenses for a while.

Wearing any type of contacts for any length of time is bad for your eyes. It's totally cosmetic.

After a while your eyes begin to depend on the contact and your eyes become weaker and weaker.
