yeh there r a coupla good ones
the following r my fav ones
although they maybe a bit old but each one of em ws a superhit
kal ho na ho (a lot of crying but a really sweet movie with awesome songs )
kabhi khushi kabhi gam(quite a family movie kind nice songs though)
and then theres rang de basanti(the patriotic kind movie but reaaly nice storyline )
then theres kabhi alvida na kehna based on extramaritial affairs

i actually want to see kabhi alvida naa kehna....songs are good and from the trailers, it looks like it's based off the movie "Closer". Good actors in it.

KUTCH KUCTH HOTA HAI (Something Happens) is the GREATEST Indian film ever haha. Its fun and musical and action packed and its LONG as hell, but worth the watch...I loved the great music, beautiful cinematography and colors. I find it so very interesting how they use english a lot...

The "Disco Dancer" is a classic. I grew up watching it and I still love it. I actually own it too. Another one is "Nagin." it's about this woman who turns into a snake to avenge her husband who was alsoa snake. It's a classic. Others include "Sholay," and "Deewana Mastana." I hope I was helpful.
