TV Programms: Pimp my ride, the Swan, Extreme Makeover (people, home/ edition), Made, While you where out, Overhaulin', Not to wear...

OK the TV network and their sponsors make this change, do the people appreciate it, can afford the maintenance of this new lifestyle (house, car or garment) or after some months is already broken?Their friends and neighbours recognize after this process?Or are they envious about this change?
It's doing fiction with their lives....

i'm sure that it's different for everyone. the thing is, these "changes" sometimes only cover up the actual cause of the problem and so the change is only like a temporary band aid.

personally, i made an extreme change that didn't last more than a few months. i went from being a "go to church when i felt like it catholic to being an extremely right wing conservative pentecost. looking back, i realize that i was very fake, it felt manufactured and i knew it wasn't me and now i've gone to the other extreme of being agnostic! so far, this last extreme change has worked for me because it's answered a lot of my questions and has found a solution to the core problem that i was facing.

anyways, i always wondered what happens to the people who's cars get pimped out.. i always think that the car will get broken in to VERY FAST especially since all of the things that are in it are broadcasted on tv. and then people who get new BIG homes, I always think about the electricity bill...lol

i do not think it'll last.seriously.look at the drastic change-wardrobe,lifestyle yada yada....it would be very difficult to keep up.talk about diets.it is already very hard for people to keep to the regime so what more them?they have to dress up differently, change their whole lifestyle and diets.i do strongly feel that the show is just for them to be a "cinderella".after time, they will be back to who they were before.
