you will only irritate your skin more if you scrub it with exfoliants at this point. try the remedy of a real oatmeal mask...just get a half cup of oatmeal add some good bottled water to it...make a paste and apply it to your face ... let it dry and then wash it off with luke warm water. after you do that you need to moisturize your delicate skin with a non perfumed lotion....yah nutrigena is one of the best for this....but gently ... and do look up dermalogica products as they are very very successful at treating any skin conditions...

another natural plus and inexpensive item to have on hand is witch hazel....make a spritzer bottle of it and it will help...

Emu oil is the best. I know you said no oil, but its not a greasy oil, it is an oil kind of like tea tree or vitamin e. I use it on my pimples and acne scars . Make sure you use a good one that is MEA certified. Use it twice a day. Emu oil works AWESOME, but i dont think it will help in two days. Try using cover fx make up. it is a full coverage oil free cream makeup that was invented by dermatologist and plastic surgeons for patients to use after proceduresyou can get at nordstroms. A little bit goes a long way and it is kinda pricey, so ask for a sample. It transfers easy so make sure you dont touch your face a lot.

check out neutrogena's makeup line. they have some AMAZING skin clearing concealers and foundations, but if you're not into anything that has any medication, they also have skin-tone evening foundations. everything they make is made for acne-prone skin, so nothing will clog your pores. their foundations are each around $11 and concealers are about $8.

hope your first day goes well!

try any bar soap and a wash cloth it will exfoliate four to five times a day, but, be sure to drink plenty of water in the meantime and everyday thereafter. Remember eight glasses (10 ounces) everyday helps flush out impurities and improves complexion.

Use foundation. Most acne solutions don't work, not even proactive. (Atleast for me and over a million others...) Try Acne Free or Neutrogeina.
