I just wonder if anyone actually pulls that in real life.

This is kinda the same but different...

I ride a bike and I ride on the street in a busy Downtown. I basically have to ride as if I am driving, even if it means going to an inner turning lane. As I am riding, I notice that some drivers do not like having to accommodate me on the road. I can usually keep up to the traffic fairly well and I am very aware of the cars around me and try to give them room if I can.

It is illegal for me to ride on the sidewalk in my city! I could be ticketed! Sometimes, if the traffic seems really impatient to the point of being dangerous, I will ride on the sidewalk. My plan, if stopped by the police, is to pull out my rookie scared girl trump card! Actually, I've only had an officer say something to me once and I said that the cars were scaring me! He smiled and said, "Okay! Ride safe!" That time, I was on the sidewalk because I wanted to go the opposite direction on a one-way street and I didn't want to go around!

yep, I have flirted my way out of tickets many times, and once I flirted my way out of paying one that was already issued by appearing before the judge (in a really tiny town in LA) and noticing his pictures on the wall of him and his son fishing and then talking about how much I love fishing and how cool it was that he went fishing with his son. for the record, I hate fishing, but I must have been convincing, because he dropped the ticket.

btw, this really only works well in the deep south. I was horrified to find it doesn't work so well in other places.

I haven't been pulled over but I know of some people who do flirt their way out of tickets. Once a police officer asked a girl for her phone number and told her if she gave it to him he wouldn't write the ticket. It worked.

i don't know about flirt but my retarded friend thinks being in pharmacy school is the greatest thing in the world and she tells everyone about it everyday. she got pulled over and told the cop she was in that city for pharmacy rotations (as if he was supposed to care). I don't know if it was her whining kiss-a$s tactics or if it was the fact that she's going to be a pill-counting cashier, but she didn't get the ticket.

Late at night, left a pub. Ran out of gas. Cop right behind me.
I'm buzzed a little. He walks up and asks me to step out of car.
I'm dressed like a slut. He notices. I explain I ran out of gas, and
can he help me get some ? He is really checking me out, &
says ,"sure, no problem". He takes me to get gas. We talk in his
cruiser. He is totally the best gorgeous cop I'd ever seen. He
takes me back to my car, he's smiling at me while gassing up.
He knew I had just come from a club. ( alcohol). He didn't seem
to concerned. I wasn't drunk tho. He asked me if I wanted to go
talk with him somewhere. I said YES!! OMG!! We talked and
exchanged numbers. The rest is history.........lol ( guess) lol lol

A friend of mine tried it with a female officer once and it was a total flop, because the female officer's partner sitting in the car was also her fiance. Was soo funny, I laughed at it all the way home.

Yes, it always works for me. But it has to be realist and fairly subtle.
