Subaru Technica International :or STi is Subaru's motorsports division, similar to Ralliart (often spelled RalliArt) for Mitsubishi, TRD for Toyota, AMG for Mercedes-Benz, etc. STi specializes in the preparation of a variety of vehicles for rallies such as the World Rally Championship (WRC). It was founded in 1988 by Subaru to promote the company identity. In recent years, the WRC has been predominantly won by the heavily modified STi 555 Impreza, beating many of its rivals such as the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

The other answers have it correct, but in addition to the Impreza WRX STi model, Subaru also sell a line of performance parts under the STi label. These include some of the pieces that are included in the STi models (brakes, struts, springs, and wheels in particular), as well as some aftermarket parts that don't come on the STi as delivered (strut-tower reinforcements, short-shift kits, etc.)
In addition to the STi-branded parts, Subaru also sells a line of Subaru Performance Technology (SPT) parts. It's not clear to me (nor is it clear to a lot of Subaru enthusiasts) why Subaru feels the need to have two tuner divisions, especially since STi has had such a massive PR success in the US since the 2004 release of the 2.5L STi.
