For the first time in 35 years, I'm not dreading the end of summer, because I retired at the end of the school year!
It does seem eerie that I'm not preparing lessons, buying school supplies, or clothes.
Good luck to all of you going back. Have a great year!

Well I suppose I have special circumstances. I taught summer school this summer, and today is the last day. I am not dreading the beginning of the end of summer, but I am not looking forward to school starting up again this fall. We are having major problems with our contract, and I'm teaching with a new textbook, So there is a lot of anxiety involved.
