Turn on PBS, Discovery Channel, etc. and you see plenty of Amazonian or aboriginal women walking around in their birthday suits. But on those same exact channels, even a buttcrack is blurred out if the person is from America, Europe or Asia. What gives?

you know what?? that's a GREAT question... maybe because it's not for sexual reasons in their culture while in most american media, nudity tends to conotate sexuality

I hate the word civilized. That's their culture and if they want their no-no special parts slingin around then let it be so. America, Europe, and Asia PRIDES themselves on being civilized so that's why they blur everything out in my opinion.

Most Americans are not comfortable about their own sexuality, musch less someone else's. Another words they are uptight. That's why it's ok to show violence on TV every night but, nudity is bad.

That is their culture. However you are supposedly civilized and therefore normally dressed. Blame the church for this taboo...many people including me would opt for nudity.

b/c its an accurate portrayal of historic times...not a porno. you can't but aboriginese people in business suits
