protect idenity theft they turn me down 75% of the time? I work for a big name company and the service we offer is top notch and it is only $9.95 a month to help someone make sure that no one else uses their name and to help them keep up with their credit. I only close about 25% of the people I pitch this to. Can anyone out there tell me why they dont think it is worth $9.95 a month?

because most people in a way wish someone would. Lots of credit card companies don't realize 75% of their customers can't really afford it and their credit is not fantastic so to them it is a why bother issue.

Try telling them that their usage and payments are great and that while the crredit score is going up for them they should consider protecting thier hard work, People work hard for good credit and often never hear 'your doing a great job' from the companies they hold a card with, so take the time to encourage them and they may just say thanks and yeah maybe I will protect my credit score.

Good Luck

Usually, if you have a great product/service and your only closing 25% (which isn't horrible by the way) your not giving them enough information to make an educated decision. Really LISTEN to what their saying and after every pitch, take 30 seconds and think about what just happened. It sounds simple but it raised my closing % a ton.

Because when you say you want to help they only hear I want to Hurt you. Your approach may be wrong or your vibe or maybe you might explain to much or to little. Alot of people don't like to feel like you think they are dumb or that your not telling them the whole story. It's a tricky thing. If you are doing it on the Internet or by phone you have to push your personality. No one like to feel like a number. Or if you are in person then you might be too eager or not to confident. You must pace your self a present as if you feel like it's the best thing in the world, but your not going to fool anyone if you don't believe it yourself.
I really hope this helps and you it make perfect sense to you! Good Luck!!!!

By your pitch here I can tell that you are a LOSER as a salesman. First of all, the purpose of id theft is to take someone's money by gaining access to private information. You are offering to take my money and want me to volunteer that information to you for my protection. Sorry, I'll take my chances with the other bad guys.

You may not be doing anything wrong. It is so easy to just download something for free or find a free trial that works well enough that most people don't want to pay for anything on the internet.
