best advice I can give you is relax and be yourself. phone interviews are pretty common, and they can actually get pretty technical, depending on the job.
-don't try to rush just because you're on the phone. if it takes 30 to 45 minutes, that's normal. answer just like you would in person.
-expect the normal questions in any interview. what are you most skilled in? what are you weak in? what is it about this job that interests you? what would you expect to be doing? stuff like that.
-give sensible answers. don't give the lame stuff "my problem is I work too hard" they can see through that. give real weaknesses. like "I'm not very experienced on that program" or "I do get bored if I do the same thing all day." they know you're human, so they do appreciate people who are honest.
-when asked for your strengths, again, be sensible. don't say "I'm honest and I work hard." give them something tangible. you had a job that was similar to this, so can jump right in. you did this many internships, it shows you like to stay working. you moved up to supervisor at two old jobs, it shows you're a good leader. stuff they can really see.

do not give the following answers:

Q: where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A: being your boss.
(better to say, moving up in the field, eventually getting into management)

Q: what is your biggest weakness?
A: I work too fast/don't know when to stop.
(see above)

Q: why do you want this job?
A: for the money.
(it teaches me some new skills, it keeps me current with my field,
it gives me a chance to really to show my stuff)

There are a series of basic and rather stock questions that interviewers can ask. The strength and weakness one is common. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If you were a tree what kind would you be and why?

Most of these questions are not really serious. They are designed to see if you can think quickly and back up your answers with reasonable explanations. There are no real right or wrong answers.

Don't rehears things to say because then the answers will sound rehearsed and canned. Just answer the questions as honestly as you possibly can.

I have routinely answered the weakness question with, "I am impatient". This "weakness" can then be explained in a way to turn it into a positive as in "I get impatient when things do not progress as quickly as I would like". And then you can say, "So when do I start". Just a little joke.

Don't worry about having all the right answers. Interviewing is more about how you present yourself and what kind or rapport you can develop in a very short period of time with your interviewer. Relax and have fun. If you can make the process interesting for both parties, the you will be way ahead of the game.

I have listed a website below that you can go to and get advice as well as doing virtual interviews online. There are several virtual interviews not just one. Practice makes perfect! I would take the time to do these interviews and read the advice column and you will ACE your interview. Good Luck to you, I really hope this helps.
