A teaspoon of vinegar will do it. If not, wait 2 minutes and take a second. You never have to take a third.

Fill up a cup of water. Take 2 chopsticks and place them horizontally on the cup making a cross. Then drink a mouthful from each section of the 4 sections of the cross. Believe it or not, your hiccup is gone! I know this sounds really silly but it does work magically each time. I read about this from some old book.

Well, a sure-fire way that has worked for me many years back when I was often hanging around with a bunch of guys. They would pick me up by the ankles and shake me when I had hiccups. I hated it, but it always worked. If you live alone, try standing on your head. I don't think you'll be able to shake yourself, but the different perspective might help.

A hiccup is a spasm of your diaphragm. If you find a spot to concentrate on while taking deep breaths in and long exhales, it should calm the diaphragm.

A hiccup is caused by air stuck in your throat. Chug a can of pepsi . This will cause you to burp. Then walla, the hiccups are gone...

Hold your breath. It doesn't usually work the first time, but if you keep doing it, it should.
