I would opt for a c-section.
Considering the last child has been a larger size as well, I would talk to your doctor about how you feel about this, and what they would suggest. With a larger baby, they could tear more, and do more damage, even though your not sure about the exact size of this baby, I would lean more towards a c-section just to be sure, and to avoid the troubles from last time. Goodluck & Congrat's!

Well, what does your Doctor advise? If it's the same doctor as your first baby, he should already know your concerns. Where I live (Canada) they try to only do C-sections when the baby or the mother is in distress. My wife had a very long labour with our first child, but when she had our second child, he just popped right out after about 7 minutes of pushing. I think that it's important for you to talk to your doctor about this and decide what's best. Perhaps setting a time limit (say, 10 hours) after which you'd pursue a c-section. Good luck!

Have a tilted cervix too. Delivered a 9 even and 9 lbs 10 onces through it. Very diffucult but survived...........20 YEARS AGO! The only child I delivered C-section was 4 and change a month early.
Medicine a long way since then. Unless life threatening........Do it the way you should........screaming , cussing, pushing, and the biggest bi-atch the world has ever seen. C- section is for the ones who will take the easy way out when it is not necessary.
Plus the scar is ugly!

You need to talk with your Dr about this and go with what you feel is right, unless Dr knows a good reason not to. I had c sections in 58 and 60.
Best of Luck.

You have to do with what you feel comfortable with~ knowing that c-section will leave a scar~ and be painful afterwards for about 6 weeks~ look into c sections alot more before you decided~ take care~

My second daughter got caught on my pelvic bone. The Dr. had to reach up and pull her arm out to give her more room. She now has nerve damage to her arm. I would demand a c-section, not ask for one. Don't risk it.
