My friend is throwing an 80's theme in 2 weeks. where can i get a costume - I would like to dress as Madonna.

Madonna costume is a great idea and very easy to find!
First the corset, you can find a black corset at any lingerie store. Add fishnet stockings - also easy to find. A pair of black pump heels.
The hair - you can get a long blond pony-tail wig at any costume shop, or anyplace that sells Hallowe'en gear.
A great place to buy stuff for Hallowe'en costumes are thrift shops. I don't know if they have these in your area, but there are Salvation Army, Value Village, and Goodwill.
What else for Madonna, well the make-up of course, thick '80's style make-up (don't forget her trade-mark mole!)
Also remember to wear a lot of necklaces, including a large cross, and a lot of black rubber bracelets, these are cheap and can be found at the dollar store or kids jewelry section.

Dont need to buy an actual costume.
Just look up Madonna online and check out some pics of her for ideas.

thrift stores are a great place to start they are cheap and everywhere. there are also many vintage stores available. i would also recomond throwing an out fit together. if you looka ta madonna you see her style is booty shorts, tights(usually black) and a cute matching top. those are easy to find anywhere. the other thing is to style your hair like hers and red lipstick. have fun at your party.

"The Halloween Club"...it's open year-round or look on ebay, you find cool, strange stuff sometimes...
and even at thrift stores , you're bound to find something authentic 80's in a store like that.
