SIMPLE BUG REPELLENT
1. Back-track the critters to find where they're getting in.
2. Sprinkle across their path. If it's a door or window, put it along the whole width of the opening. If you're no sure how they're getting in, or if they're flying insects, add the mix to 1-2 cps hot water & strain into a mister. Spritz around the window & door sills, and around heat/air vents. (use a fine-mesh strainer, or a coffee filter or tea bag).
3. Check to make sure you've gotten rid of any cookie crumbs or other foods that might be attracting the little guys.
BAY LEAVES, GROUND CLOVES, CAYENNE PEPPER
Use the cheap brands. Crumble the bay leaves real fine, pick out the stems & put back in the bottle. Add 2-3 spoonfuls each of the cloves & cayenne. Cap & shake well to blend.
CAUTION: Do not use Cayenne Pepper where little kids can get into it. Use the spray version, or substitute plain Black Pepper. (Cayenne burns like fire if it gets into your eyes)

Spiders will leave any room with a hedgeapple. If you also put boric acid powder around the edge of your room walls and carpet edge, ants and many other bugs won't come near it.
Try and put it just under the carpet so your cat and dog don't eat it.

Combat roach and ant traps are very good. Depends on what kind of bugs you think you may have. Boric acid powder is also very good. Spread some around your baseboards, let sit for awhile, then vacuum it up. All of these things are harmless to children and pets.

you can buy ant traps , roach glue traps, and all manner of sprays. avoid having food open anywhere in the room or having crumbs on the floor and dont leave clothes in a pile on the floor keep things as clean as you can, i suppose they dont much like the smell of lysol or amonia or vinegar.

What kind of bugs? Do you know? Ants, roaches, spiders, crickets, fleas, are a few I can think of. Try vacuuming them up. If that doesn't work, maybe call an exterminator.

At night turn the light off in your room and turn on one light or flashlight in the next room. They will go to the light, then swat them. That should do it. Anyway that is what I do and it works.

get a bug spray (even the kind you can spray on yourself) and spray your room along where the floor meets the wall.
