If u are still in college, or a recent graduate, then...
1. Network---talk to alumi and see if they can help you out with a job in your field. (70% of all jobs are gotten through who you know).
2. Write your resume, and get others to proof read and fix for you.
3. Start posting your resume online---Hotjobs, Monster, Your School's career website.
4. Research-if you don't know what u want to do then, look into different fields and see which suits you more. If you do, start looking at different companies and see what they offer.
5. Remember--many jobs are posted on company websites---under "career." Don't forget to include individually written cover letters with each job submission.
6. While you are doing that, prepare for interviews, pratice makes perfect when you are under nervous situations.
7. Don't give up~~

if you want a good paycheck every weak go to home depo and ask all the dudes that got paint on em if they need a helper .. you can get about 400 a weak just startin
