If i was guilty, I would want the death penalty, because I would not be able to want to live with the fact that I was guilty of such a crime.
If I was innocent, give me a life sentence, so I could appeal and fight for my innocence.
Makes sense, doesn't it?

I prefer life sentence for several reasons. First, I believe that it is wrong to put people to death for their crimes. Second, I have heard that the death penalty appeal process. and the carrying out of the sentence is more expensive for the government than life in prison. Third, I believe that it would be harder to spend life in prison than to die a relatively painless death.

i dont like either... the death penelty is acutally unconstitutional in the preamble it clearly states that "all men are created equal by and endowed by their creator w/ certain unalienable rights such as LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happyness..." And also... after WW2 all the world countries got togethor to make "the bill of human rights" and in that bill one of the human rights is THE RIGHT TO LIVE. The only way to make the death sentence legal is to classify as all murderes as "sub-human". And i dont liek the life sentence because it is a waste of tax dollars.

Stream lined death penalty for all criminals who would have gotten 25 years or more. Allow them 1 appeal, and then kill em.
