What was your shortest job & Why did you quit?

At a fast food restaurant called Jacks. There were roaches crawling everywhere: on the counters, walls, and even in and out of the cash registers. I ran the cash register and was afraid they would crawl up my arm or into my purse to be taken home. The grubby manager kept talking sexual to all the female employees. I quit after one week and had to go to the labor and wage department of the government to get my paycheck as they refused to pay me. When they finally agreed and I went in to get it the manager threw it in my face and yelled at me to never come back. I gladly obliged and walked out the door with my head held high.

I worked at a factory in Ohio that made electronic coin sorters. I worked the assembly line, and I had to get up every morning at 4:45 to be there by 5:45am. The conditions and hours there were so bad that an old woman fell asleep next to me, and they took her away for five minutes, then she went back to work. Another woman started crying because it was so monotonous and she was so tired. I tried my damnest to keep up, and my fingers had blisters cause the parts were small and hard to put into place. After the fourth day, I was fired. The bitchy manager lady told me it was because I was too slow.

I worked at a daycare for 2 days, I quit because they did not let me take a break or lunch and I did not like how the 'teachers' treated the children. This was not my first daycare job, but the first one was an in-home one where the one I worked for 2 days was a daycare center.

I lasted about 20 minutes before I passed out on the front counter. Dam it was hot in there! I didn't quit, by the time I got home they had left a message on my machine saying not to come back.

Church's chicken for one day. None of the employees were interested in showing me the ropes. They acted like I was expected to have arrived with the Church's Chicken employee software program already installed in my brain. They were goofing off and smoking inside the restaurant, too, because the manager was taking leave after breaking his leg.

HMM FIXING PAY PHONES AS A SUMMR JOB IT LASTED ABOUT, OWE 2 MONTHS, FROM TRYING TOO REACH THE HOME OFICESS TOO GET A ACCURATE READING ON THE THINGS OR A, VERIFICATIOON OF THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE STUPIODD THINGS SOME BODY WOULD CSRATCH THE INSIDE PLATES OFF THE PHONES THEM SELVESS, AND EVEN THOU YOU ARE THERE REPAIRMAN COVERING OWE AROUND A 50- 75 MILE A DAY RADUIS WHEN CALING THEM TOO VERIFY THINGS, THEY WOOULD SAY WHO WHAT WERES YOUR LOCATIOON SIR DID YOU LOSE A QUARTERR?/ I WAS THE REPAIR GUY THE IDIOTS OR BE PUT ON HOLD TOLD TOO CALL BACK, IN 2 HOURS RIGHT WHEN I HAD AROND 75 MILES TO COVER ETc! THERE HOME OFICES IS A JOKE ETC, AND TRYING TOO GET CHEWING GUM OF A PHONE RECEIVERR, OR TRYING TO PRY OUT SLUGS OUT OF THE BOXES ETC, AND THE SMASHED GLASS AND VANDALS!! WHEN I SEE ONE THAT WAS VANDALIZEDD I HAD TO EOPRT IT TO THE PD, AND SIT AND WAIT AROUND FOR THEM TOO SHOW UP 3 HOURS LATER, IN THE TRRUCK, AND THEN IT IS SUPPOSE TOO GO BACK TOO THE HOM OFICES SIR WHO ARE YOU WHATS YOUR LOCATION HOLD ON SIR BEEP BEP BEP,!! I QUIT, 2 MOTHS AFTER THIS TOTALLY SCREWED UP NIGHTMARE!!

Being a waitress in a chinese restaurant.It was awful....so many dishes to carry, little ones, big ones, huge trays, and fussy people and the waitress gets blamed for anything that is wrong. I never waitressed again. The only thing good was the tips but it wasn't worth the anxiety it gave me.........

Sorting cherries at a fruit company in The Dalles Oregon. They treated us like cattle. It was awful.
I went home at lunch and never came back. I did call with a lame excuse about childcare ;)
