not necessarily...I've always been told "the only stupid question is the one you don't ask." So I guess in a sense, you wouldn't be asking a stupid question. However, even the most lucid and intelligent questions can get stupid answers. Best thing to do is not ask stupid people questions! lol

Think you will get both serious and stupid answers. People being people, there will always be someone who doesn't take a question seriously and give some smart-alecky answer. It doesn't matter if you ask the most profound question or a stupid question, the answers given will probably run the gamut.

well if it was a silly stupid question u might get some pretty silly stupid answers but just a plain old stupid question ur gonna get a really stupid and rude answers

It would truly depend on the nature of the question. Often what is perceived to the individual as possibly stupid is actually not. Then again I have been wrong before!

if the question was a serious, intelligent question, then your bound for a rocket science answer. if you ask why did the chicken cross the road, your not going to get einstein to answer that with E=mc2 (by the way thats supposed to be "square")

Wow, not to go all Forest Gump on you, but when I was a kid, my mom always said, "If you ask a stupid question, you get a stupid answer." And, its usually true.
